We are not pushing potty training super hard yet. Our 2.5 year old son is delayed. Every once in a while we ask if he needs to Tee tee and we get lucky. He loves to pee in this. Again we are taking it slow
We also have a squatty potty which promotes pooping in the correct position. I am a nurse so many nurses have squatty potties because they work for everyone in the family.
It's cute, it's cheap, functions as expected, and the suction cups hold up fine as long as they're on tile or other suitable surface. I have more of a problem with my toddler picking it all apart and pulling the suction cups off the wall, they haven't yet come off on their own and I’ve had it up for a few months now
I’d potty training is at a standstill, or not going very well I highly recommend this product. Our son was doing well but was commuted to potting training. Within a couple weeks of having this not only was he peeing by himself it encouraged him to starting pooping on the potty too. He loves the independent this provides since it’s easy to reach. He even cleans it in his own! He takes it dumps the pee into potty and rinses it out in sink!
I purchase this boy urinal to help my three year old son get used to the different setting he may find himself in. At first he didn't know what to do but after a few trial and error, he got the hang of it. Setup is easy and clean up is pretty much dump and rinse. I would recommend if you are training a boy.
I bought this for my grandson. He loves it, and it has been a huge help with potty training him. It is small and light weight, so we actually mounted it on a stand my husband made so we can adjust height and move it as needed.
My 3 year old has been very stubborn about potty training. A friend suggested we try this urinal and my son is very happy to use it. I just tell him to go pee in his penguin and he takes off to the restroom. It's perfectly sized for a potty training child and very easy to clean. Just remove the lighter green piece and pour the urine into the toilet. Then rinse and put it back. It's so cheap, if it gets nasty, one could easily purchase another OR purchase one for each restroom. Hasn't fallen off the wall yet and the spinner makes for perfect target practice.
During our potty training he started to get intimidated by the big potty - even with his special seat on it. I guess we pushed it too hard for a while there. He started peeing his pants again. This one is fun for him and he isn’t scared of it at all. He loves to dump it in the big potty. It came with hooks with stickers to install on drywall by the adult potty. He tore it off the wall accidentally and the paint came with it. I suggest using 3M hangers instead. That’s what we’ve used in attempt #2 to hang it and it’s endured a month or two now with no problem.
Got this for my 3year old...he loves it and doesn't want to sit no more. It really got him motivated to want to go pee...I had hard time getting him on the potty to start. Let alone him sitting. But the penguin he loves running to and using. The spin thing does not work. Not sure if others have that issue. But it splashes to much if he "hits" it...best to aim low!. Easy to clean... Pull it out, dump I. Toilet and I spray with bleach, rinse and pop it back in. Your boy will love this thing. *** Came with a hook and extra eyes**which I didn't know.
